Since 2017, I have worked doing VFX paint & fix work for many of Volkswagen USA’s web videos, removing unwanted reflections in the cars’ paint and chrome, and cleaning up environments and road surfaces to the client’s specifications.

Purchasing Power explainer
I storyboarded and animated this explainer video to help pitch the idea of purchasing power to employers whose employees could benefit from the program.

TED conference loops
I animated these two massive looping conference stage / screen backgrounds for a TED conference—this video first shows mockups of how each looked onstage, then simultaneously runs the full loops.

The Micro Arm by NLB
I manually rotoscoped the subjects out of the footage shot-by-shot for this promotional video for the Micro Arm, designning and tracking in backgrounds and text treatments to emphasize the points being communicated in the voiceover.

SMD Employee Lifecycle

I storyboarded and animated this explainer video to help pitch the benefits of the SMD Link cloud service. The storyboards were created in vectors in Adobe Illustrator, then broken up and engineered for animation before being brought into After Effects.

Cultivate Change Intro

I created this 3d-animated video by myseklf as a sermon series opener for Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC. The 3D work was done in 3D Studio Max, and the compositing in Adobe After Effects.

Someone Like You Music Video

I created this 3D/2D-animated music video for rock musician Molly D'Ago using customized characters and assets from the free Daz Studio software, then composited and stylized in Adobe After Effects.

PremierConnect Cost

I animated this explainer video that was storyboarded and illustrated by a colleague to help Premier to communicate the sales proposition for their total cost management solution.

My One Word

I animated this testimonial video in Blender and After Effects, and did the greenscreen and compositing work in Final Cut Pro.

I keyed and stylized the footage and animated this sermon intro video in After Effects based on initial designs done by my creative director.

One-Take Tunes

I cut this musical performance video together in Adobe Premiere, using videos shot on a tripod using my iPhone. Titles were designed in Illlustrator and motion graphics done in After Effects.
